Know Where You Stand
Most polling asks one broad question such as, "Do you think Congress should clean up its act?" Then everyone agrees, which tells you nothing.Purple asks the specific questions instead:
Should members be banned from trading individual stocks?
Should the ban cover spouses?
Should existing holdings move into a blind trust?
Should violations mean fines, or forced divestment?
Simple agree or disagree, one at a time.Your pattern of answers becomes your Common Ground Score.Usually showing you land a lot closer to your neighbors than the headlines suggest.
